My passion for travel began with my very first flight to Hawaii at the age of five, but it truly blossomed during a study abroad experience in London. With a husband, son, and brother all working in the airline industry, my opportunities to explore the world have only continued to grow.

Always ready for the next adventure, I have been known to travel 10 hours just to spend two days in a destination—and even once hopped over to Lisbon simply to pick up a pen. I live by the motto, “I haven’t been everywhere yet, but it’s on the list.” So far, I have visited 49 U.S. states (plus Guam), 34 countries, traveled across five continents, and enjoyed 23 cruises.

An avid cruise enthusiast, I spend way too much time researching cruise ports, studying transportation systems and currency in destinations around the world, and finding the best value for every trip. I am especially interested in destination-focused itineraries that maximize opportunities to experience new cultures while unpacking only once. Having sailed on nearly every major North American cruise line, as well as river cruises and luxury and expedition ships, I like to joke that it’s all in the name of “research”—because someone has to do it!

The only thing better than going on vacation for me is coming home! I am blessed to live at the base of adventure near beautiful Salt Lake City, Utah in an emptying nest. Rocky and I are the parents of 4 children, 2 of whom have recently acquired spouses themselves.
